Our guides are general information
The Application Coach publishes general information about NSFAS, bursaries, university and TVET applications and student finances in South Africa. It doesn't take your circumstances into account. Every guide shows the date we checked our sources, and figures may be out of date by the time you read them.
We are not NSFAS, and we never charge
The Application Coach is an independent website. We are not NSFAS, the Department of Higher Education and Training, a university, a TVET college or a bursary provider, and we can't see, change or speed up anyone's application. We never charge for applications or application help, and we will never ask for your myNSFAS password, OTP, ID number or documents. Anyone who does is not us. - Funding decisions are made only by NSFAS, institutions and bursary providers. Nothing on this site guarantees funding or admission.
- Dates, thresholds and allowances change every year. Always confirm on the official website before you rely on them.
- Example scenarios in our guides are illustrations, not real applicants.
